Call for Workshop

HPC Asia 2025 welcomes the submission of workshop proposals. We will hold up to four workshops at the same venue of the conference on the morning of February 19th, 2025. Through technical presentations, invited talks and/or panels, we hope those workshops will provide a great opportunity to establish wide-ranging and in-depth discussions among attendees.

Note: If we receive more workshop proposals than we can accommodate at the conference venue, we may close the call for workshop proposals before the deadline.

Proposal Format

Each proposal must include the following information:

  • Title of the workshop (Full name and Abbreviation)
  • Objectives, scope, and contribution to the main conference (up to 1 page)
  • Short bio of the key organizer
  • Procedure for selecting papers
  • Expected number of participants
  • A tentative list of program committee members
  • The workshop website URL address
  • Main contact person (include name, email address and contact phone number)

Proposal Submission

  1. Please submit the proposal as a PDF file attached to an email send to: hpcasia2025@narlabs.org.tw
  2. For queries on Workshops – please indicate “ < Workshops> ” at the start of your Subject heading of your email

Workshop Facility

HPC Asia 2025 will prepare one room for each accepted workshop. The room capacity is 35 to 40. The time slot for each workshop is 210 minutes from 9:00 am. to 12:30pm on February 19th. Projector and screen will be available in each workshop room.

HPC Asia 2025 requires all presenters, including workshop presenters, to present in person.

However, organizers may hold the workshop in a hybrid format that allows for remote viewing. HPC Asia 2025 cannot provide the equipment or online meeting rooms needed for a hybrid format. Organizers must make their own arrangements.

Organizer’s Duty

Each accepted organizer is responsible for the successful management of their workshop including following tasks:

  • Send call for papers to appropriate mailing addresses
  • Open a website of the workshop to display the location, time and the program of the workshop.
  • Manage full reviewing process of submitted papers.
  • Attend the workshop in person and operate the workshop.

Note: Conference proceedings will not include workshop papers. Therefore, publication method of the papers and/or the presentation materials of the workshop should be prepared by the organizer.

Information About the Fees

All HPC Asia 2025 attendees will be able to attend workshops without an additional payment. Therefore, there is no option of "Workshop Only" registration option for HPC Asia 2025. Additionally, there will be no financial support such as registration fee of the conference or travel fee to the workshop organizers.
